Description:
During my quiet time in the pre-dawn hours in early February 2011, I saw a painting in my mind. The title "Where Love Begins" formed in my thoughts. I sat thinking about what I was "seeing" and how it fit in with the title when a poem started spilling out on my notepad. "Where Love Begins" was conceived. Later that day I began applying the beginning textures to a canvas. Day after day, layer upon layer it progressed until I knew it had finally reached its destination.
WHERE LOVE BEGINS:
Out of darkness...
Light begins to emerge...
Understanding awakens...
Love is born.
A new beginning...
A second chance...
Another opportunity....
Love takes root.
Light spreads...
Darkness fades into nothingness...
Love absorbs its surroundings...
Leaving only shadows of the past.
